My goal in creating this kit is to help you
accomplish the following:

First and foremost, to help you feel GREAT!

To help you take that first (or next) step
towards enhancing your fitness through
yoga-based stretching.
-
To give you the experience of effective
stretches right away, first hand.
-
To help you realize that you're never too
inflexible to stretch or do yoga!
-
To introduce you to the concept of a
well-assembled stretch WORKOUT (as opposed to
just random stretches). Most people assume that
stretching workouts will either be
boring, too easy, or painful. They are
none of the kind! A well-done stretch
workout feels GOOD, gets the blood flowing,
relieves stress, and brings noticeable results,
both immediately and over time.

To help you build your confidence:
Successful, yoga-based stretching -- and the increased
flexibility it provides -- can pave the way for
bigger and better goals, in sports, fitness and
health!

To give you specific guidance on how best to
organize stretching and other workouts into your
busy schedule, answering the common question,
"Now when should I do these workouts, and how
often?"

Step 1:
To Ensure Your Safety and to Get the Most Out of
These Materials..... |
|
|
- Please check with
your doctor before attempting this or any
exercise or stretch program.
- Stop immediately if you feel any pain.
- Be patient with yourself: Try to do
the workout at least 2-3 times during the first
week of attempting the program, to help build a
foundation of familiarity with the stretches and
cues.
- Avoid holding your breath when stretching;
take easy, smooth breaths at all times.
- If possible, give your workout its full
attention: Clear a nice space for
yourself, wear something comfortable, turn off
the TV. This is YOUR time to do something
good for yourself. Use it fully!
- If need be, skip a stretch that you're not
ready for. Do what you can, and build from
there.
