Photo Story:  9.11 Mile Freedom Run, Barrington, IL

In summary:  A great way to honor our service men and women and get a wonderful run in!

Another view of that beautiful American Flag

The Finish Line

The first of 3 Trail Run Loops:  "I can do this!"

Go Army!

It was fun to run near these guys when they were chanting in cadence -- helps one's own stride rhythm!

Smiling and clueless:  I had no idea there was any runner behind me here!

Beginning Loop #3 of the trail -- Thank goodness!

The Final Stretch -- Oh how happy my downhill-weary quads were to see this!

Yeah, I'm ducking.  No, I don't know why.  Electrolyte imbalance, maybe?

I'm told that I look too happy to have run 9.11 miles.  I can't disagree!

That's my dad, cheering me on!  How cool is that???

I'm about to get a high-five from that awesome Boy Scout cheering us on!

Now THAT'S the way to finish:  High-five's all around!
